Privacy Policy

Muxy works entirely on your Mac. It never connects to a server, and it never collects any data.
No data collected
Muxy does not collect, transmit, share, or sell any personal data or usage data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking SDKs. The app's PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy manifest declares NSPrivacyTracking = false and an empty list of collected data types.
Your files stay on your Mac
All video processing — scanning, compositing, and encoding — happens locally using Apple's AVFoundation and VideoToolbox frameworks. The video files you select are read and written only on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
File access
Muxy reads and writes only the folders you explicitly choose through the macOS system file picker. To remember your output folder between launches, it stores a security-scoped bookmark in your local UserDefaults. That bookmark is kept only on your Mac.
No network access
Muxy makes no network requests of any kind. The app has no entitlement for outgoing or incoming network connections.
